Instant Café Theatre’s Jo Kukathas speaks on TEDx. Its a reflection of where we have come, where are today as a society, what we have left behind, what we have forgotten and what we might become if we allow what is happening today to go on.
Please watch it, every Malaysian should.
There are thousands and thousands of people out there leading lives of quiet, screaming desperation, where they work long, hard hours at jobs they hate to enable them to buy things they don’t need to impress people they don’t like
- Nigel Marsh
How true isn’t it? How many times have we heard about people saying that they will have a life after they retire but why do you need to wait that long to have a life? I always believed that it’s about having a great balance in everything we do, Nigel Marsh thinks that we should Approach balance in a balanced way .. I agree!
It’s the small things that actually have a massive impact and its important to pay attention to them as much or more than the material indulgence which we sway to keep us happy
A very interesting talk by Mustafa Akyol who is the deputy editor of the Turkish Daily News., he highlights the big debate about Faith against Tradition. Its 2 absolutely different areas for me and its often mixed and various claims are made for what ever reason for who ever benefit.
For me Faith is personal and how some use for mileage is purely not right but hey, thats just my point of view.
Check out Mustafa’s talk at Ted
