Home Minister – Don’t Regard Criminals As Heroes

A Kugan who was killed at police custody was finally put to rest this week. This was after the 2 post morterms, some serious whacking behind bars, politicians intervention and what did the Home Minister have to say?
Don’t Regard Criminals As Heroes
I was pretty shocked to see this coming out of the Home Minister!I mean seriously… If i were the Home Minister, i would be a bit more careful with what i say during such fragile times. Emotions have been shaken up, our children are being killed under the custody of the people who are supposed to protect us!! As far as im concern, Kugan did not commit a crime and since he got killed before anyone who could change the suspect status to guilty, HE IS INNOCENT!
For me its not a race issue, its simply a national security issue and to me it looks like the police is a threat! I have heard soo many stories that this is normal and there are soo many that get killed under custody. Of course this maybe true or not but you cant help but wonder if its true isn’t it?
If you have not seen the original report of the Home Minister’s statement, you can read it HERE. What i think about this report?
Dear Home Minister,
Who ever is writing your statements should be fired because he is a moron. Its the stupidest thing to say considering the current climate and your definitely talking about Kugan and there is absolutely nothing general about your statement. Fire that moron who is writing your speeches and please read your speeches before saying anything to the press!!
My 2 cents
Syed Hamid’s World
When Spiderman first discovered his powers all he did was flaunt it! He was shooting webs everywhere, climbing walls & swinging from building to building. Then his grandfather told him that with great power comes great responsibility and he had to control his powers and he is responsible for his actions.
What did spidy do? He stopped F*&^in around with his powers and started to use it to help people and get the chick of his dreams(benefits of the jobs la).
But our home minister seems to be very amused with his new found powers and he is firing bloggers down, locking up bloggers and when he sees more than 10 people in a space, his boys are deployed to lock them out. It doesn’t matter if Superman,Cicakman or even Rocco was part of the crowd!
Anyway….i think he still hasnt had that chat with grandpa who tells him that with great power comes great responsibility and that he is and will be accountable for his actions. He has taken matters into his own hands and is firing away as he feels like it! Its like a kid who got his first water gun! FIRE at anything at sight and then claim that its only water whatttt!!!
I think that someone better have that long overdue chat with him before he pisses off too many people and something huge blows up that is not pretty to look at. There have been calls for his head but somehow i think that calls will be ignored however this could only spell trouble if not dealt with.
Oh, and if your wondering what he thinks about the Bersih gathering arrest , this what he thinks.
What are your thoughts?
Candle Man
The home minister was interviewed with regards to the ban that was imposed against Hindraf. Below are excerpts from the interview
“I think I got support from the Indian community who are peace loving,”
“(The ban) is not against the Indians or the Hindu religion. We have no problems with the Indians or the Hindu religion.
“The Indian community and the Hindus have always worked very well with us,”
“It is an extremist group. It advocates and propagates hatred, inciting feelings against certain segments of the community”
“We have got their addresses and offices bearers – that’s how you enforce. And their activities are now no longer legal,”
And now the icing on the cake :
“For your information, all ministers of home affairs will never take a populist view. We are never popular but we are like a candle – we burn ourselves in order to protect society.”
The Candle Has Spoken!

The Brave Police Of Malaysia
Friday is my favourite day of the week where i normally don’t like to blog about anything serious and normally my postings are slightly off beat. In conjunction with that theme, i thought i tell you something which i found amusing and am confused if i should laugh or be worried.
A police beat base located in the Chow Kit area of downtown Kuala Lumpur has been shut down because the “presence of criminals could make it unsafe” for police officers.
Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar said the beat base was located in a dirty area where police faced the possibility of being exposed to contagious diseases.
The presence of criminals also posed a threat to the safety of police officers.
WTF?!
They closed the station in a area that is notorious to drug dealers, prostitutes, gangsters and other criminals because its not safe for the police?? So why have a police force if they are scared to protect the nation?? Im shocked at the response given by the Home Minister!!! This guy is a joke!! He’s actions are all crazy and the things he says are just mental!
The message i get from a responce like this is. If there is a crime, you better know how to protect yourself because the “police” will run first! Or maybe the police force is a government tool for their own agenda’s only! They seem to be more political issues that real issues which they are really set out to do?!
SHOCKING!

Hindraf is Officialy Illegal
Hindraf has been declared Illegal and a threat to nasional security!!
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 15 (Bernama) — The Hindu Rights Actions Force (Hindraf) has been declared an illegal organisation from today, said Home Minister Datuk Seri Syed Hamid Albar.
In a statement issued here, Syed Hamid said the decision to declare Hindraf as an illegal organisation was made following the ministry being satisfied with facts and evidence that showed Hindraf had and was being used for unlawful purposes and posed a threat to public order and morality.
“Based on powers vested under Section 5(1) of the Societies Act, Hindraf from today is declared an illegal organisation,” he said.
He said the order was being made as a result of monitoring and investigation on the organisation’s activities by the Registrar of Societies (ROS) and Home Ministry, since Hindraf’s inception.
Syed Hamid said if left unchecked, Hindraf would continue to pose a threat to public order, the security and sovereignty of the country as well as the prevailing racial harmony.
I wrote a article about Sun Tzu’s Art of war concept of nip it in the bud. This is a age old tactic of crisis management which is expired in my view, the Home ministry obviously doesn’t seem to feel the same way about it
