MV Augusta

Heard of MV Augusta? MV Augusta is a Italian motocycle maker that makes MV Augusta and Cagiva bikes for racing and street use. The company was not doing too well and eventually when appraoched by Proton ,it was sold for 70 million euro in December 2004. Proton realised after that that there wasnt much synergy between the companies and decided to  cut its ties with MV Agusta and sold it to GEVI SpA, a Genoa-based financing company related to Carige, for a token euro excluding debt.

In the latest news Harley Davidson announced they had signed a definitive agreement to acquire the MV Agusta Group for $109M US

Now how do you explain that?? Proton…how do you defend this?

Malaysia Open 2008

Badminton is apparently the favorite Malaysian Sport(since we have some joy out of it).The clearest thing i can remember was when we won the Thomas Cup Finals when we hosted it. The team was then represented by Foo Kok Keong(the guy with the really short shorts), Rashid Sidek,Kwan Yoke Meng,Razif&Jalani Sidek and Cheah Soon Kit & Soo Beng Kiang.Since the we have consistently become a force nobody cares about Even the European Nations aren’t too bothered!

Report: Malaysia to Make ‘Islamic Cars’
