Nuke or Not?
Malaysia yesterday announced plans to build its first nuclear power plant by 2021, saying it is the only solution to the country’s growing energy needs. The Cabinet has approved in principle,” said Mr Peter Chin, Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water. He described Malaysia’s energy mix – half of its power plants run on gas, and the rest on coal and hydro power – as “unhealthy”.
Ha! So we might have a nuke power plant 1 year after we become a fully developed nation(fingers crossed).Fingers crossed for the fully developed part of course. Im not sure if its the best idea for us to lead the way in nuclear power? Im no scientist but i know that this decision has to be extremely well thought off, a consultation process with subject matter experts,ngo’s and members of the public before anything can be decided.
Its nuke! It has potential of causing real damage so pls plsssssssssss go through the process of consultation before deciding on anything. I sure hope this is not part of a big deal which we have pledged to build this nuke power plant.

iPhone 3G S Availble In Singapore From Friday!
The iPhone mania hit our country when Maxis introduced the iPhones via their phone deals. I didn’t go for it because i thought it was too expensive and prices had to drop (considering the prices in other countries). Anyway, while we in Malaysia are so proud of this introduction, our brothers and sisters from across the causeway will be getting the iphone 3G S this Friday via SingTel.
