6.46 LinkedIn Passwords Leaked

A user on a Russian forum has claimed to have downloaded 6.46 million user hashed passwords from LinkedIn.
If you have a “weak” password, your account could be compromised. Suggest you get onto your LinkedIn straight away to something stronger that contains special character’s, numbers or caps to give it more muscle. This can happen to any of your online profile’s so it’s recommended that you change your password from time to time to keep your profile’s safe.
LinkedIn has more than 150 million users worldwide. This apparent hack appears to affect less than 5 percent of its user base.

Google 2 Step Verification

Google offers a whole suite of fantastic products. I personally have use many services which are an important part of my daily life. Now how would you manage if you found out that your security has been compromised? Not the best ha! If you don’t know yet, Google offers a 2 step verification to ensure that you have one step extra the usual user name and password when accessing any of you google accounts.
What is the 2 step verification? Its something like your banking login. When you login, you will be sent a sms verification code which you enter when you log in and it will take you into your account. So if you don’t have your phone, you don’t get in.

When you get your unifi setup, installers normally give you a default password(dir-615 default password) which is stated behind your router. I was strongly adviced to change this passwords by friends and when i was doing this, realised that i didnt have my internet login password. Recover Your Gmail Password Via SMS

Now you can recover your gmail password via sms! Setting it up is easy, all you need to do is to turn it on by logging into your Google Accounts. Under Personal Settings – Security: Click on Change password recovery options. Then you are taken to the Account Recovery Options page. For setting the new feature of text messaged code, all you need to do is to select the country from the drop down and input the mobile number and your good to go!
