NESV & Liverpool FC

I have been a Liverpool supporter since 1989, i was barely 10 years old when we got some English Football coverage on the tele and for some reason, me and my mates at that time felt a connection with the team, we watched the likes of Grobbelaar,Alan Hansen ,Steve Staunton, John Barnes, Jan Mølby and Ian Rush to name a few mesmerizing the field with wearing their Candy kit. The team went on to win the Division 1 tittle, the top league in England at that time. Continue reading »

Dear Mr.Hicks

A message for Mr Hicks. You came in with such promise but all you have done is ruined the club. We have absolutely nothing but anger towards what you have made off such a celebrated club.

Scumbags

These are the 2 that are responsible for taking the club backwards. I pray and hope that they are not given the opportunity to gain control and sell as soon as possible. For the sake of the club and the fans, please sell and go buy “football team”, the one with the disfigured ball?

Liverpool Fans Turn On The Heat!

American owners don’t have the best reputation in the BPL. The 2 biggest clubs in England Liverpool and Manchester United both have American owners who came with big promises but the only thing that they have delivered is a huge debt and 2 sets of really pissed off fans.

Liverpool supporters have decided to turn on the heat and have embarked on a city-wide billboard campaign in their latest effort to rid the club of current owners George Gillett and Tom Hicks.

I bet the yanks didn’t see this coming!

*United fans, its your turn now* :P

Hicks Got the Hick-up’s

hicksLiverpool co-owner apparently is in a financial hot soup! The Texas Rangers owner who has some massive problem in the MLB team so much so the governing body has to step in to loan him the money to pay his high earning MLB stars.

This for sure has a indirect effect on the Reds who are on the up and finished their season merely points from the eventual champions Manchester United. Maybe its time for the American to cash in on his investment to someone with a bit more financial muscle to run the club.

Fans are still waiting to see the new stadium, the big name signings and the owners giving the manager the support he needs to challenge the Champions and the chasing pack. With teams like Manchester City with their new found wealth and Aston Villa who have done well in the equation to challenge, things on the field will only get harder.

This is not good for the team! Hopefully he comes clean with his situation to the Reds and gets the matter clarified so that the team can go on with matters on the field instead on this lingering issues!
