Yesterday’s blog posting reminded me of something hillarious that happened in my previous company. I used to work in a large IT company before. The employee’s in this particular office used to support countries from this region. The funny thing was my colleagues used to joke about how the most powerful person in that office was the receptionist.
The receptionist would be the one that sends out emails to the whole organization saying things like ” Philippines team will be on holiday for 2 days beginning XX” , “Malaysia on closed for business for 3 days from xx” . It was like the receptionist was the gate keeper who decided who goes on leave when.

Dan was a single guy living at home with his father and working in the family business.When he found out he was going to inherit a fortune when his sickly father died, he decided he needed a wife with which to share his fortune.
One evening at an investment meeting he spotted the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.
Her natural beauty took his breath away.
‘I may look like just an ordinary man,’ he said to her, but in just a few years, my father will die, and I’ll inherit 20 million.’
Impressed, the woman obtained his business card and three days later, she became his stepmother.
