Check this out! You now can explore the Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and the Vatican by taking a virtual tour of Rome in 3D. This project was initiated using Google Sketchup and you can view the cities in 3D using Google Earth . Its fantastic isnt it! Get a preview of the city before you visit or simply get a feel of what the rest of the world looks like, in 3D!

Google Cloud Print has a new homepage with more information about the service, a helpful video and a list of products that work with Cloud Print.
Using Google Cloud Print, you can make your home and work printers available to you and anyone you choose, from the applications you use every day. Google Cloud Print works on your phone, tablet, Chromebook, PC, and any other web-connected device you want to print from, explains Google.
Haven’t tried it yet but surely well, sounds interesting even though i try to avoid printing as much as i can.
Here’s a big one :
Google is acquiring the handset division of Motorola, Motorola Mobility, for $12.5 billion!
Acquisition price equates to $40 per share of Motorola stock, or a premium of 63% over Friday’s closing price.
This means that Google is now in the Hardware Business! Massive news, eventhough Android will still be available to the likes of HTC, Sony Ericsson & Samsung who have done a superb job with the OS but this definately changes the playing field tremendously. Whats really interesting is, from what i hear most mobile hardware patents are owned by Motorola so its much more than a hardware maker that Google is getting its hands on.
Larry Page is definately ringing the changes around Google since coming on board
