Fernando Torres 2011 Goal Tally

Chelsea star Fernando Torres scored a blistering 3 goals during his 1 year at his new club Chelsea. The below tribute is to the Blues forward. Chelsea paid £50m for Torres in January 2011 – just over £16.6m per Premier League goal so far.

The Spanish striker scored an impressive 65 times in 102 Premier League appearances for the Reds, but has only managed to muster a measly three goals in his first 27 for Chelsea.

Resolutions

That time of the year again when new resolutions are drawn up and some goals are put in place to guide thru the new year.

Most of us try to draw up that list which we look or loose by the next one and wonder, ok.. where did the year go. It was a pretty good year for me , managed to achieve most that was on my list but its that time again to look at what i want to make of 2011.

Video Technology For Football?

After England’s tragic crash out of the World Cup 2010, the excuse that is flying around is that if there was video technology the outcome of the game would have been very different.

Yes! say what you want but if you asked me, i say there should NOT be video technology in football. Why? Incidents like this is why the beautiful game is the beautiful game. It can happen to absolutely anyone. The best referee’s make mistakes! If players who are paid millions can win tournaments and pay perfect games, what are you expecting off referee’s who mostly have full time jobs.
