$1 Per Year To Use WhatsApp

The creators of Whatsapp are going to be charging $1 per year to all Whatsapp users starting this year, sometime this year. While no date has been set, its in their plans to charge this nominal amount to for usage of this cross-platform messaging service.
Not a big deal if you ask me, it’s a small fee to pay for the service which is probably saving you lots of money that you might have spent on those SMS/MMS.

Charge By Race
Signing up for an exclusive Club membership has never been this weird. Apparently there are golf clubs that are charging new members based on the colour of their skin!

I remember looking for jobs in the newspaper classified and i see jobs that says “Chinese ONLY” or even jobs that boldly advertise that they want only a certain race. I felt that it was horrible that they were allowed to advertise in the first place. I don’t understand the logic, if the job requires for you to speak a certain language , i can understand it. In that case, the language pre-requisite should be highlighted but the way its done is nothing but pure racism for me.
The below has been circulating on social networks recently. Apparently it’s from KGNS- Kelab Golf Negara Subang . Searched on the website but there was no pricing by race but this could be a hard copy. If its true, its shocking and I sure hope that some serious action is taken against them.
I for one am hoping that it’s a hoax! What do you think?
The past is finished, Let the future begin
What difference a year makes, just a year ago we were lead by a certain Roy Hodgson who came out with a Liverpool team that look like they were out to defend their premiership status. Signings like Poulsen, Konchesky , Jovanovic & Cole were brought in and one kept wondering, is this a real Liverpool side or a bad prank someone was playing.
This year, Liverpool started the season under the leadership of the manager that all Liverpool fans have been praying will be given the job, Kenny Dalglish. A massive overhaul has been underway at anfield. For me it was a very brave transfer window. Unless you are the owners of Man City or your name is a Roman Abramovich, money will be looked at with both eyes wide open. Owners will encourage the sale of unwanted players before taking out the cheque books to sign new ones. Liverpool went out early and started signing the players that was required to compete, signing pure quality.
Only at tne tail end of strengthening the squad was when the players started leaving Liverpool, mostly bench warmers and players who were clogging up the cash flow. Inspite of all the transfer activity, would you believe that an astounding £30 million has been wiped from the wage chitty, and a little over £20 million raised in funds.
The team have started the season well, the players who are surplus to requirement have been removed and we have a lean squad that is packed with quality now. Its perfect, a good 4 months to run the show with this squad and a period where the squad will be evaluated while Damien Comolli and his scouting team go identify the best possible signings that can be brought in during the next transfer window.
It is indeed great leap forward of unprecedented proportions

Condominium Maintainance Fee’s

One of my many monthly bills that helps drain out my monthly wages is the maintenance fee that i have to pay for the Condominium i live in. Having paid this fee for more then 3 years since i acquired my own real-estate, i never questioned this fee.Lately i was wondering why am i paying this fee? Is the money paid being used truly to maintain the condo or is someone else getting rich by this money?
When you tell someone you live in a condo the natural mental image you get is swimming pool, gym, squash courts and nice facilities that complement the pigeon hole you live in. Unfortunately most condominium’s lose steam as the years go by and gym, courts are the first casualties then followed by not so clean pools, damaged BBQ pits and finally quality of security goes down the drain.
But inspite of all that one variable does not change, the amount you pay for the maintenance. I’m sure if you live in a condo, you would know exactly what im talking about. Sick isn’t it? Well, its the reality of the way things is in this part of the world at least.
Some questions I have that i need to find answers for(Please comment if you know)
1) Do you have to pay this maintenance even if your not getting the money’s worth?
2) Who do you complain too if your not getting your money’s worth?
3) Who audits this?
There just isn’t enough protection for the consumer and lots of people are getting away murder because of this.
Your thoughts??
