iOS 6 Released

Apple has launched the all new iOS 6 for iPhones, iPads & iPod Touch. Apple are releasing the new OS in batches depending where you live. This new update features more than 200 new features but you wont be able to enjoy all the features, depending on the device you own and your location.

Here are some notable enhancements
Shared Photo Streams
Redesigned Share Sheets with Facebook integration
Siri enhancements
iCloud tabs for viewing on one device the same sites you were reading on another device
Voice directions for navigation
Update apps without having to enter your password
New theme for the music player on iPhone
Design enhancements to Apple’s digital stores
Dynamic menu bar that shifts color depending on the background
FaceTime over cellular networks

Be sure to back up your device before you install the new OS, you can never be too safe

It’s a first of its kind, Liverpool open its doors to camera’s to capture the preseason and what goes on behind the scene’s. The 6 part series is narrated by Clive Owen. From part 1 of the series, it focuses a lot on the new manager Brendan Rodgers and the culture and style that he is bringing into the club.

It is inspiring stuff but there are 5 more episode’s to go and i cant wait to watch the lot as it comes out. Its  a view from the inside that all fans are not used to watching, one that brings a smile to any LFC fan!

Microsoft Office 2013 Preview Now Available

Microsoft has introduced Microsoft Office 2013, that is designed to be Experienced at its best on Windows 8 devices. The new office includes PDF editing in Word, enhanced presentation mode in PowerPoint, FlashFill auto-complete in Excel, People Card in Outlook, and many more.

The latest version of Office takes everything to the cloud which means that you now will be able to have your files across various devices using SkyDrive . This not only carries across your files but templates, settings and much more.

If you have Win 7 installed you can download a preview and take it for a test drive.

Windows 8 Developer Preview is now available

The new Windows 8 operating system, Microsoft has mad the Developer Preview of the new OS available for all to download. Time to take out the old notebook or desktop to test out what might be the next windows variation to come out.

There are some min system requirement :
1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
1 gigabyte (GB) RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)
16 GB available hard disk space (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver
Taking advantage of touch input requires a screen that supports multi-touch

Astro New Packages : Super Packs

I found out about this only recently and i got straight to Astro to evaluate my current package and to see if im paying the lowest price for what i have. I used to pay about RM145 for my entire package (including HD services) and did not have the movie package. Now i dont have the Metro Package but i have movies(which is not cheap!) and i only have to pay RM125. Not bad a savings!

Here is newly introduced Superpacks which i think that everyone should check out! You could end up saving a bit more than you are paying already. The bigger your package the better your savings!

Its probabaly a good idea to consider getting the PVR as well, there is a 50% discount happening right now!
