Maxis to distribute iPhone

Its finally coming to Malaysia! The iPhone has been the talk of the town from the time it was first launched and it never made its way to our shores. Every time someone showed off their brand new iPhone with the fancy finger maneuvers it was from either America or Hong Kong or UK. The phones had to be cracked because it wouldn’t work with our local network. A friend told me that he couldn’t plug it onto his computer while it was online because it apparently would lock the phone again.

That pretty much explains why Malaysia wasnt a favourite destination for Apple to bring the iphone too. Then they launched the iphone 3G! This one got me excited, its half the price and twice as fast!! Now that’s something i would consider!! In the latest news, Maxis will be introducing the iPhone 3G for below RM1,000.

Maxis could not comment on when the iPhone will be available yet as Apple does not have a Asian distribution policy yet. It be interesting to see the price point and how it is going to bundled with the maxis packages before being offered to the consumer! Thank god im a maxis user

Chelsea Live in Malaysia

For EPL fans the most boring part of the year is post/pre-season. This year is not too bad as there was the Euro 08 tourney which distracted us. The only consolation in post/pre-season is the transfer news that keeps the excitement levels up and if one of the teams come to our grounds to showcase the starts we are so used to watching on tv.

This year, Malaysians will get a opportunity to watch Chelsea FC in town!! They will be touring Asia and making a stop in KL as part of the Samsung Chelsea Asia Tour 2008. Chelsea will be represented by the best talents that Roman’s pocket could buy including new coach Scolart, Deco and the stars that have been wearing the Chelsea shirts for a while now.

In conjunction with this tour, Maxis as a sponsor of this event is having a contest where you can win tickets to watch the game and a chosen few can even watch the team train!!

Nufflets

Were going to have a 4th ad company that’s going to be hitting our shores real soon!!

NuffNang got the ball rolling and since then we have had Advertlets, the GrabMyAds and the new kid on the block is called Nufflets .From what i understand via the Nufflets site its due to be launched in 3 days time, on the 25th Dec 2005.

I dont have much info on the mechanics but HongKiat has a brief idea. I’m going to wait and even though im a infant in blogging, it be interest to know what Nufflets has got in store!
