Another day has gone and still missing child Sharlinie is still missing.With extensive efforts by all walks of the society joining hands in the search there is still no progress. Feels like dejavu for most of us who have experienced this similar feelings not long ago.Just when i thought there was some sort o progress with some arrest being done, we all were hit with a reality check when they were released and declared not involved. Sigh…. Its becoming a norm for such things happening in this part of the world now and it makes me sick to the stomach.A special phone line has been setup by the police if you have any information with regards to missing children and its mended by the police 24hours, days a week.Remember this No :

As bloggers, I urge those who have not posted this piece of news to do soo to pass the message around of this child going missing so we are all aware! Post her pictures so we all know how she looks and hopefully this helps in some way or rather.
Pray for some good news of the safe return of this child.

The AMBER Alert Program is a voluntary partnership between law-enforcement agencies, broadcasters, transportation agencies, and the wireless industry, to activate an urgent Bulletin in the most serious child-abduction cases. The goal of an AMBER Alert is to instantly galvanize the entire community to assist in the search for and the safe recovery of the child.
This was the American answer to how the people and the government came together in keeping the children safe when the crime against children first came to light. This is the similar effort that is being done by those who care via the NURIN Alert(Nationwide Urgent Response Information Network) .In my view this is very important to keep the masses well informed of whats been happening!
A website is being developed for this cause, its not up yet but watch this space for when its launched and spread the word around because you need to know whats being done to actually do something about it!
