A friend of mine was asking me about the Mascot for the world cup 2010 and for some weird reason, i didnt know what the mascot was for this world cup (and my friend thought that there isnt a mascot this time around) which is highly unlikely!!
So here it is!
The mascot, a green-haired leopard called Zakumi, gets its name from a combination of South Africa’s country code ‘ZA’ and ‘kumi’, meaning ‘ten’ in several African languages.
