WiMax Roll’s Out Today!

The long anticipated WiMax service under wireless KL starts Today!! Packet One (P1), will officially roll out its services today, at monthly rates that are expected to range from RM60 for 400Kbps to over RM100 for its highest speed of 2.4Mbps.
P1 is one of the 4 licensee’s of Wimax together with REDtone International Bhd, YTL e-Solutions Bhd and Asiaspace Dotcom Sdn Bhd.
This is a long over due competition to streamyx which has been the monopoly in the market for way too long with its quite frankly below par services.
Whats this service mean?
Users now will be able to surf the internet via their P1 service anywhere withing the zones ala mobile phone service.

Its about time we get good Internet speeds and good prices! Many countries around the world are on really fast speeds and we have to catch up to stay competitive! Best Merdeka gift so far!
