Google went to the streets of Times Square to ask people one very simple question. What is a browser?And the responses they got! 
Its shocking isn’t it but not surprising. Sometimes we take it for granted that we know things that we use on a daily basis but when asked the very simple question or the most obvious one, you tend to get lost! I think its very normal and it doesnt make you less smarter than you are but it be nice to find out isnt it
So i looked up Wiki and a browser is :
A web browser is a software application for retrieving, presenting, and traversing information resources on the World Wide Web
There you go! Now you know what a browser is
