I saw this bizarre piece of news in my view that a salesman from KL had lodged a police report against the former prime minister Tun Dr M for having caused Malaysia to suffer from economic problems.

According to the complainant :

Wee represents a group of concerned citizens who wants the police to investigate Mahathir for “merosakan dan menjahanamkan (spoiling and destroying)” the economy.

Wee states in his report that Mahathir did so by approving bailouts for Pewaja Steel for RM13 billion, a RM2 billion bailout for a shipping consortium owned by his relative and bailing out Malaysian Airlines

(Mahathir) made statements that the people should reject Umno and Barisan though he was campaigning for his son Murkhriz. His actions has caused uneasiness among Malaysians

So what do you say to that! Looks to me like people are getting desperate ha! So we have a ACA who have not investigated the former PM, we have a whole government who did look that way and nothing was done(hence you would think that he is not the root cause) but a certain person/group who think that Tun Dr M is root cause and made a report towards the former PM.

Question

Why not lodge a police report against Tunku who gor us independence for getting it in the first place. If he had not done it we would have been a British ruled nation and would have been another Hong Kong maybe? We would have been a developed nation by the 80’s and we wouldn’t be in the situation we are in today!

Make sense?

On the other contrary we we got our independence, we have had prime ministers who did some good and not so good things and we are where we are today. Who to blame for all this??

The debate can go on and on. Go to any coffee shop and if you listen to the “political analysis” at the coffee shops, all you hear is this minister did this and that minister did that but how many times have you heard anyone blaming the rakyat for voting them in??

I think its our fault that we allowed the nation to be in the condition it is in today. Politicians are the elected representatives of the people and if you voted them in then you are to be blamed! They can control the media hence you may not get the real story.

Let me ask you a few questions

1) Do you know who your mp/adun is?

2) Have you ever met your mp/adun(or attempted too)?

3) Have you taken a effort to see if your Mp/Adun’s plans are for your constituency?

and finally

4) Have done any research in who the other candidate was?

Stop blaming the politicians for mistakes they made,you voted them in and we as the rakyat have the power of deciding who we want and who we don’t! Yes politicians may have messed up the country but you messed up by voting for them in the first place!

Everyone has a part to play and whining and complaining about how messed up the situation is not going to help anyone..Do something about it!
