With the entry of Virgin Racing and Lotus F1 Racing ,two adversaries form the aviation industry make their entry to the F1 calender. Both team promises to make F1 “sexier” and to bring more challenge to the circuit. This mini war has started with Sir Richard challenging the Lotus F1 Team principal Dato Seri Tony the stewardess challenge.
In what is possibly Formula 1′s most outrageous news story of the year, AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes, whose Tune Group finances the Lotus team, has accepted a challenge laid down by Virgin’s Sir Richard Branson – whichever man is beaten by his rival F1 team next season will dress as a stewardess for his competitor’s airline.
Im hoping that the teams will come of the grids kicking and pushing like how Force India has made their mark in thier maiden races last season. This should be interesting and im for one am looking forward to the race to start from March 2010 onwards
