American Idol is in season its 8th installment and judges Simon,Paula and Randy have been on the judging panel since its first started. To be honest i have not heard of Randy before Idol but this should be a good intro about who he actually is.

Randy was a member of the group from 1986-1987 and traveled the country promoting their Raised On Radio album with a coast-to-coast tour.   Group members at that time included Steve Perry, Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Mike Baird and Jackson.

On a separate note, He has some killer resemblance to my friend Danny ha! What you think?
