Parking at Malls

I hate the fact of looking for a parking bay at Malls,In fact I’m not a fan of shopping but lately due to the sales and the holiday season i have been going to a few. All the malls have changed so much but what impressed me the most?? The Sunway Pyramid Car Park! Looking for a spot to park your car is a pure nuisance, fret no more my dear friends!!

I didn’t know this existed till my friend told me about it!! Check out the lights just above the parking bays.

Those actually mean something!! No they are not fire spray things or not there for fun! Now just say your driving into the mall car park and its filled with cars looking for a bay to park, look up and pay attention to these lights…

If there is a vacant lot ..This is what you see – >

Yep..thats right a GREEN LIGHT!! So you make your way to that bay and park your car.Now what happens if the bay is occupied?? This happens ->

RED LIGHT(occupied bay) Cool eh!! There is a sensor above each bay that detects if the bay is occupied or not soo..It really makes the job of looking for a parking bay soo easy isn’t it??

This service is only available on the new wing at the moment but i sure hope more malls adopt this method because looking for a parking bay during a weekend for instance is a pain!! The other thing is there were a few broken light/sensors already soo i hope the Sunway Pyramid people fix it and maintain this awesome service!!
