So its been a year since the Hindraf rally toke place. Since then much has happened.
We have a historic election, We have had 5 arrested under the ISA, We have had numerous teddy bear’s being looked at as threats, We have had Hindraf getting banned, And so much more! The movement have since been declared illegal and Hindraf has called for all to pray for the well being of the nation in their respective places of worship(which also got some resistance)
Well what now?
I have got my thoughts on what the movement have done and what needs to be done (PURELY MY VIEW) which i will blog about on a different day. I want to share this video with S Indra Devi, wife of Internal Security Act (ISA) detainee and Hindraf legal adviser P Uthayakumar. What does it mean to those who were in the thick of the action.

We as a community have not done much. We’re a bunch of yo-yos. These guys risked all that they have built in terms of career, life and etc just to see their beloved community get its deserved share in this society. We must do more. We must spread this awareness to all Indians by writing, giving speaches and holding workshops. We can no longer accept our faith as given by the ruling party. It’s time to raise to the occasion and the time is NOW. Together we stand tall, divided we fall.
