One School For ALL MALAYSIANS

322755-1241884452-mainMy cousins in Singapore tell me about how it is compulsory for them to learn their mother tongue language and they are happy do so. I was a public school where Tamil,Chinese,Punjabi were not offered as a main subject and even if was at that time, i wouldn’t have appreciated it back then but today looking back… I wish i actually had that option. With modern times and the pace, everyone is conveniently forgetting the importance of your own mother tongue.

With Tamil and Chinese schools, in my view it does not allow the future of the country to learn the other race, religion and how to live happily with each other. I feel that keeping the same kind in a the same spot for a bit too long will breed a very narrow and hopefully not “racist” crop. I could be wrong but i don’t care because i believe that everyone should be exposed to everything and thought how to live happily with each other.

If we want to be Malaysia, we first need to learn that we are all Malaysians. We need to understand how each race and religion is unique and special and nothing but mutual respect will make us great!

A group of bloggers have started a petition to call for 1 school for all Malaysians and i support this cause! Have a look at the petition here and sign it if you think you want to support it as well!

Dude, i’m with you on this. My family has been wishing for this to happen for a long time. It’s time we put our religion and race aside and start thinking as a Malaysian.

children are not born racist. If they all are in one school, the term “racist” might vanish in the future…..

Also all religous based schools must not be main stream. All Malaysian’s must follow the same course. Chinese, Tamil, Islam/Javi should all be elective subjects.
