Apparently Maxis will be offering the iPhone 3G very soon. You can book yourself a unit but make sure to read all the fine print because i dont think its gonna be as easy as it seems Check it out HERE . I know someone who is piseed off and i would be if i were him!
The plan is a real crap and aimed at nothing but ripping off the customers. Looking at the plans, it is expensive for both data and voice rates. The price of the iPhone is over the roof and worst of all, they requested for RM2000 upfront deposit.
If this is not rip off, I don’t know what it is. They should learn how to do a proper phone bundling package from Digi. Digi’s plan are more reasonable and the phone price are very close to the market price (a mere RM10-RM20 difference) for the DG50 plans. If one takes up the DG250 plan, the phone is almost 60 to 70% below the market price. That’s what I call a deal.
I am looking forward to the day when iPhone isn’t exclusive to Maxis. When the day comes, I am counting on Digi to come out with a package that is going to smack Maxis in its face, hard.

my iPhone was actually a gift from my girlfriend. i really love this phone and i think that this is the best phone that money can buy. i like the features and the design.
