Malaysians are charged RM8 a month or 27 sen a day to ensure that our sewerage system is in check and the health of the waste is properly channeled and managed well. And this is a problem for Malaysians apparently!!
22% of the 2.8 million customers have not paid their sewage bills since 1997
This totals up to RM 650Mil that Malaysians owe Indah Water Consortium!! The bills are issued every 6 months and if every Malaysian pays their bill on time, its hardly a burden but when you let it accumalte then it may cause a pinch!
Imagine getting up one day and as you head to your office you have a burst pipe right infront of your house and its the waste that is over flowing out our the burst piper, you call and find out that the relevant bodies dont have enough money to fix it!! Its “shitty” situation isnt it??
PAY YOUR INDAH WATER BILLS! Its minimal and it keeps the shit away!
