It's a catch 22 situation. While the park can be used for good things at night, like playing games, exercising and dancing, it can also be used for bad, like loitering, drinking and well, robbing the innocent users of the park. While I appreciate the lighted parks, it's still useless if we don't have policemen patrolling the area frequently enough. Crime rates have rocketed and I don't see much being done by said force. They are paid to do their jobs, not hang around in the hawker stalls. Let's just say I'd rather pay protection money to the mob at this current moment, because technically it's the same thing.
