Articles on the Star & NST on thr drama that happened at the Subang Jaya is anything to go by, the local coucilors are not getting enough to do. Tempers were flaring all over the place when a councilor Keshminder questioned why the ADUN of Subang Jaya Hannah Yeoh on where she was seated! Yeap, thats right…Where she was seated!!
The ALL Mighty Councilor Keshminder
In a room full of councilors and the press the councilor was not hesitant in questioning YB Hannah.
“Why is she sitting here (beside the councillors)?
“Her place is at the back. If she can sit here, can I bring anyone too?” Keshminder said
State assemblymen are allowed to attend the full board meeting but they are not allowed to take part in the proceedings. According to this arrangement the assemblymen are allowed to sit at the back and just observe. YB Hannah however wanted a power source so she could use a her notebook to take notes that were relevant to her constituency after getting the permission from an MPSJ staff member.
Mr Keshminder must have had a bad day because fromt he look of things he was jumping as high as he could to catch a imaginary apple. He went on to say
“If Yeoh sits again at the reserved place at the next full board meeting, I will walk out,’’
My take->
This is pure rude and lack of manners at any meeting. He was a fuss and throwing tantrums over sometime that was so petty. I think he owes the YB Hannah a apology for his un-called for behavior!
Its only a seat and she had a reason why she was there…TO USE THE POWER SOURCE! Dissapointing behaviour which should not be left un-punished!
