A much as some people say all kind of things about America, you got to envy the Freedom of Speech and how every American matters. If you have been following the debates and what has been happening, a ordinary American who met Presidential hopeful Barracks Obama in Holland, Ohio had a 6minutes conversation which was recorded by the media and got mentioned a blistering 26 times during the 3rd and final presidential debate!
His name is Joe the Plumber!!
His 6 minutes conversation was :
“Do you believe in the American dream?” Wurzelbacher asked Obama.
“Yes, sir,” Obama replied.
“Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn’t it?” he asked.
“It’s not that I want to punish your success,” replied Obama. “I just want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they’ve got a chance for success too. My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody. . . . I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
“Even if I don’t get your vote, I am going to work for you.”
I thought what is happening is brilliant! Its clear that the freedom of speech as its best and imagine that happening here? We have had reporters who got arrested for a report in local daily while the host of the debate was publicly confronting both the presidential hopefuls. Imagine that happening in Malaysia?!
If Joe the plumber had a blue identification card, he would be plumbing at a very different setting
A certain home to the “rebels” at Kamunting has probably need to be expended!
Anyway after watching the debate, i think that John McCain is a waste of time! I hope the Americans don’t make the mistake of another Bush becoming their leader! McCain who is a bit of a furniture now kept speaking about his archives and Obama was speaking about the future!
