Delirium-Life of a Malaysian the way I see it
26 Nov
A day after the Hindraf rally im sure most of us have got our own versions of what happened(depending where your reading) .Its totally 2 different stories from the mainstream papers as compared to the sites and accounts from those who were there. One of my friends Danny was there, he went there with his dad and sister and shares his experience on thedaneshprojects. Its very clear from his experience that this was a wake up call for us Malaysians, yes i know it was by the indians with the intention of handing the petition to the UK embassy but take a few steps back and look at the bigger picture… We are Malaysians and from Danny’s experience it is not a Indian,Chinese or a Malay thing it is a Malaysian thing!Nobody is against anyone, we dont hate our own brothers and sisters.
You know what the irony is, anyone that was interviewed from the govt spoke about how this is illegal and they are all ears to listen to problems and all that but has anyone of them take a pro-active role in actually doing that? Never in my wildest dreams would have i imagined those very images you see! Not here in Malaysia at least, have a look at the Batu Cave pictures..It was almost like caging up a bunch of animals behind fences and spraying chemicals and tear gases on them, did i mention in a temple and what were they actually doing for the tear gas and chemicals to come out? Madness!
I have a feeling to that nobody is going to address this proper, just like the Bersih rally its going to be conveniently forgotten and nothing been done to fix this?Hindraf rally has been a true experience for me and im sure lots of us. Don’t let this initiative go to waste and make sure it is a lesson for all of us.Its not about Trillions of dollars, its not about being a rebel its purely being treated as equals and most important as human beings. Make sure you are a registered voter and make sure you vote! Think of what you want not what people tell you, its not something you laugh about and think that I’m only one vote…Every vote counts and your a part of the process!

Well said Abi, i am really happy that our voice as a nation’s people has finally been heard not just by our local leaders but also heard by everyone else in the world thanks to the many international news channels covering this issue.
I so agree with you. We have just woken up. Make sure we don’t get sleepy again. Let’s all remind each other to register as a voter. Encourage every single eligible voter that you know to ensure that he votes. Lets see what happens!!!! Hopefully, we are not brainwashed by then to make the same mistake that we have been doing for more than one generation!!!!
[...] share the same view as you Abi! We can already see that everyone who was not in support of this rally blaming HINDRAF and their [...]
Hindraf should ensure every eligible Indian is registered to vote. Since Malaysia is a democratic country, we will show our rights democratically!
It’s about time the current hotshot gave way to new blood. How long he plans to still sit up there?? Doesn’t he know too much of anything is not good?! I truly believe every Indian in this country has had enough of him. Move on..retire and sit at home. If he can’t let go of politics, be the advisor…then again…he might…correction…he WILL corrupt the new person with his ideology of self help and not a people rep!
So the best is to…GO REGISTER TO VOTE. Simple: Go to the nearest post office with your IC. The person behind the counter will fill the form for you. All you have to do is check to make sure details are correct and sign. Walla…you’re registered! Did mine in less the 15 minutes..
A Wake Up Call it is for everyone. As what was mentioned, this is not about race or religion. This is our right as a citizen in this country. We always fail to remember, the People in Seat are our Choice. We voted for them and thus they are in their Seat. Though it may seem only A vote, combined together with the many out there…it becomes THE vote. So friends…do the needfull….register and Vote to make a Difference !!!!
Spoken like a true Indian!!! well said!!
I also believe that the state of our nation is our own doing. If you think that your politicians are not doing their job. Don’t vote for them.
As for the Hindraf rally. I thought it was pretty unjust of the government to start spraying people chemically treated water and tear gasses when noone really did anything.
Didn’t KJ from Umno Youth spearheaded a rally at the KL Convention Center last year during Condoleeza Rice’s visit? They were burning flags and shit. I don’t think that was a government saction rally either. Why wasn’t KJ arrested or taken in for questioning? Why weren’t they stopped and, funny that noone mentioned a permit then? I didn’t see any anti-rusuhan police there either.
my dearest hindu makkals,
well…the time has come for us to stand up and fight for our rights. these brothers of ours..the greatest lawyers have did their best to strive and die for us. may the creators be with them and all of us here till the last.we’ve been neglected and non of them outside there is going to support or help us in anyway.that’s for sure.we’ll leave them aside but we start making our moves from now onwards.without any violence and hardship,we are going to acculamate the wealth by ourselves.we need to be united and trust each other deeply.we elect these great lawyers as our leaders and start collecting our fund RM10 per indian every month. estimated about 1 million indians will surely agree and there will be RM 10 million monthly in our fund. see!!!! we’ll have have our own hard earned money and we don’t have to beg.by being honest and smart,we use these fund cleverly to help those indians in all the ways we can.but these monthly donations should be noted and all our indians who are contributing should be acknowledged and given the privilages.later, the others will surely join us and we could sponser our indians who need cash to do businesses, for our younger generation to further their studies, to help our potential indians to do businesses, to upgrade the poor people in our country and many more miracles can be done. yes,i know maybe you might be thinking these ideas may not work but most important thing from now,we need to trust and believe in ourselves.we need to be together and united to implement this idea. never stop and in 10 months there will 100 million in our fund. please consider this matter and let’s be together and help ourselves.
thanks and may GOD bless all of us.

RTM1 aired the interview with samy velu…it was obviously disgusting but i watched it anyway. Well rehearsed Q & A time…answers laid on the table and samy had to just read it out. mostly brushed away with brief answers and the host was another idiot probably got paid well to make his pro government statements!
Point to be noted when asked samy said he is not ready to step down, claims he has lots more to do for the ppl…and he also did say that he is the only one who could help the indians. Again he did mention abt giving out the JKR license to 150 bumiputras and abt 30+ to indians…mainly because the indians didn’t apply for it and he said the bumis do a better job…that alone sounds like a discrimination…how can a minister talk like that???
If killing wasn’t a crime trust me i wud kill him first.
i do agree on certain claims by HINDRAF. but i hav always agreed on a point where over reliance on the government will never let us to grow.. i got my primary education in a tamil school which was in a very bad condition, i truly believe tat every indian businessman n people who r well to do should get together to help out our schools.. i hav my personal experience with ‘HIM’ n im disappointed wit the statements he uttered to me in public. tat was the day i lost all my respect to ‘HIM’. im doin my studies wit university of london.. i promise i will go back to my tamil school one day to help them out. every indian should do tat. why trust the government when WE can make a difference.???
