firefox

Mozilla announced today the release of a new Firefox 3.5 beta version. Firefox 3.5 beta 4 is now available for download in 70 different languages and has a few improvements/futures added, such as:

You can download to test the beta here

1. First of all but most important the support for HTML5, new CSS properties, a few new JavaScript query selectors and some great improvements to the Gecko layout engine, which renders content much faster. Let’s hope it will defeat Google’s browser, Chrome.

2. This new version also comes with a much secure browsing experience with the new Private Browsing Mode, which comes in handy when you don’t want your friends or family to mess up with your saved user and password information. Also they are not able to see what websites you’ve visited or what files you’ve shared or downloaded.

3. TraceMonkey JavaScript engine comes with improved performance. If you don’t know what it does, well TraceMonkey adds native code compilation to Mozilla’s JavaScript engine. You can find more information here.
