Facebook Turns 6 & A New Look Arrives

Today we’re celebrating our sixth birthday, and this week there will be 400 million people on Facebook. Just one year ago we served less than half as many people, and thanks to you we’ve made great progress over the last year towards making the world more open and connected.

Facebook has been a crowd puller for a few years now with more and more people using this site to tie thier lives together, it has become a big part of us beings.

To celebrate the anniversary, Facebook are rolling out a new theme for its users.The new layout will see some changes. The most significant is the bottom toolbar which has been taken away and  folded everything in it back into other navigational parts of the site.

Overall it looks cleaner and browsing thru your profile is simplified (just the way i like it! ). Some are already experiencing the new theme and should be available in phases.
