And it’s not just a concept as Parliament has approved a law that will make Estonia the first country to allow voting via SMS in the 2011 elections.
How cool is that!! So by 2011 voters can vote for during the Estonian general elections via their mobile phones!!!If you think that this is a bit ambitious the Estonians had allowed voters to vote via the Internet during the last elections!! Its brilliant!

It is a good idea but it will never work here. There is just too much politics bull here to welcome innovations like this.
Our toll system has never seen improvements. Don’t need to be a scientist to see that. Out law enforcement is still crap, corruption is all over.
The idea of automating thing here means less money for some one out there. If he were poor I wouldn’t mind. But 9/10 times it a rich mofo up there who keeps it all for himself.
Agree, but i think we have to start every idea with some degree of optimism.. If there are those who want to earn money out of if, we should identify em and chop em off like lalang but unless we take steps, it doesnt give us right to whine!
