I was tabulating the entries I got for the Delirium short story contest and it was rather hard to decide the winners. One of my judges actually felt we needed some help in deciding the winner of the contest and i think its a awesome idea . We managed to narrow down to the Final 5 and we felt voting was the best way to go about it.So here we go :
The Finalist Are :
Blogging is one of the serious symptoms of Delirium when it’s Karthik who is blogging. It is a pity, that you are reading a blog written by someone suffering delirium.
Delirium, something that WishBoNe didn’t expect from blogging too much here.
If you visit the blog of Erz every day, you are not suffering from delirium
Neither should you inject yourself with serum
Cos it’s probably just a case of addiction
Rajaseelan spotted a hog,
Wanting a good picture to blog,
He angled up by a log,
Unfortunately delirium from sipping eggnog,
Made him fall into the bog.
Delirium is like coffee for me, a cup a day is not enough. Delirium is truly Abinesh’s take on the world.
Danny loves coffee
Now you know what I mean? These entries were good and so make sure you vote and a decision will be announced!!
Tip for entries : Time to get all your readers/friends to vote for you too!!

Digging up the files…

Hmm.. Can I vote for myself? *evil*
be a politician man Raja.
Being a politician.. :p
My first choice is Erz’s. It is simple enough yet effective writing. It’s straight to the point without resorting to use of language ornaments. He writes (I assume he’s a guy) like my one of my favorite author – Neil Gaiman. Let me show you a sample of how NG writes.
——————————————-
Let me tell you a story. No, wait, one’s not enough. I’ll begin again… Let me tell you stories of the months of the year, of ghosts and heartbreak, of dread and desire. Of after-hours drinking and unanswered phones, of good deeds and bad days, of trusting wolves and how to talk to girls.
There are stories within stories, whispered in the quiet of the night, shouted above the roar of the day, and played out between lovers and enemies, strangers and friends. But all, are fragile things made of just 26 letters arranged and rearranged to form tales and imaginings which will dazzle your senses, haunt your imagination and move you to the very depths of your soul.
