I always thought that this guy was one of the few genuine people out there who were into it to help the people instead of ripping anyone off but i read this story today that made me feel otherwise/or confused.

Apparently he’s biggest enemies from the complains he receives are the Ah Long’s but on the flip side he also works with them! How true is this? My guess is as good as yours!
“Dr Ma’amor said that coincidentally, MCA Public Services and Complaints Department head Datuk Michael Chong gave a press conference on the same day of the incident, claiming that there was an organisation threatening and handcuffing Ah Longs and called for such acts to stop.

He questioned why Chong was sympathetic towards loan sharks.

Chong, when contacted, confirmed that he was referring to PPIM. He said that the incident was not the first”
And this statement
“Someone named Alias called and threatened to attack the PPIM office in 20 minutes if the two men were not released. Then, a man called Ah Teck, who claimed to be the head of the Ah Longs, called and threatened one of our officers, saying that he would kill his family if his men were not released”

There are many stories on several blogs that think that he is playing devil on both sides,speaking to the ah long’s and the victims and working for both maybe? Is it really happening? I’m not sure myself!

    Didalam laporan ini masih terdapat jutaan Ringgit duit MASkargo, M.A.S. yang tidak dikutip / dan gagal dituntut oleh M.A.S. serta penipuan yang berterusan berlaku sehingga kini.

    2) MASALAH KERJAYA/KESIHATAN YANG TERGUGAK. (Tuntutan pampasan daripada syarikat (M.A.S.) yang masih tertangguh).

    Kesihatan saya yang terjejas / Kerumitan didalam mendapatkan rawatan perubatan / ‘Medical Boarded Out’ / dan ‘Medical Boarded Out’ sebagai ancaman pihak syarikat, dan berbagai tekanan dari pihak atasan syarikat (M.A.S.) terhadap diri saya. Perletakan Jawatan saya pada 07 Januari 2005.

    Nota:
    Rujukan ke Mahkamah Perusahaan Oleh Y.B. Menteri Sumber Manusia pada 29 June 2006 yang masih belum diselesaikan oleh M.A.S. , walaupun setelah diperintahkan oleh Tuan Hakim Mahkamah Perusahan pada 18 Ogos 2006 supaya diselesaikan oleh M.A.S sebelum 19 September 2006. Namun pada 19 September 2006 masih tidak ada sebarang penyelesaian , Sebutan Kes dimahkamah seterusnya adalah pada 05 Januari 2007. Kes dimahkamah perusaahan pada 18 Ogos 2008 masih belum selesai.Kini bermusafir di negeri Perlis dan menumpang dirumah ayah mertua saya.

    Hi. Im writing on behalf of my friend to ask some opinion from Dato about the problem that he face from Fitness First Malaysia. Actually he had signed a 3 months trial package at fitness first last 2 years and he stop to workout there after the trial package. The problem is he is an illiterate guy, he had been cheated by the consultant when he signed up the package. He stop to workout after he had finished the trial package, but fitness first still auto debit the fees every month from his saving account for 14 months. He didn’t realize it untill the club call him to make payment cause no sufficient funds in the account for that month, when he signed up the package the consultant told him that he dont have to worry about the auto debit from the saving account, because the auto debit will be automatically cut off if he do not inform the club that he want to continue after the trial package. So he made complaint to fitness first after the call on June but untill now still no feed back from them. I tried to help him to complaint to their HQ, the PA of the MD Ms Agnes said will feed back to me asap but till now already few months still no feed back and she refuse to answer and reply my call every time when I call in. Before that we had quite a lot of conversation over the phone regarding this matter. And I had keep follow up the case untill now but what to do as she refuse to answer my call? I really hope that Dato can give him a help on this matter. Thanks and have a nice day to you.

    Datuk i need help. Two years ago i set up a company is one of the invester to pump in money. After three month later the invester say i need stop to invested. So i agreed to him and he ask to return back the money. Than i say ok but i need to pay you every month five thousand.Than both of us a ready agree. So till now my company not operate now i still need to pay him and supplier.So now i really cannot affort to pay them but i need more time to pay them. So i dont know what to do now. Datuk can u please advise me how to do.Thank you very much.

    I have a personal problem. My 19 year old daughter is now involved with a 22 year old jobless married muslim man. She is well aware of the situation but says she is prepared to look after him by working hard. He is contemplating divorcing the first wife of 40+ years old. Under the circumstances is there anything I can do to help her?

    Dear Datuk,

    I need some advise on how to help one of my relative which he is involved in Ah long’s and now he need the money to pay them. The interest rate that they have charged was extremly high where my cousing borrowed 35K and until now the Ah long said my cousin owned them 200K. Is there any solution for this effect as I am worrying everyday for my cousin’s life. And for now the Ah long is treathening my cousin’s life every single day. Please do reply me as soon as possible cause I am praying everyday for the safetyness of my cousin.

    Dear Datuk,

    I just would like to share some feeling of regret where i the one of the Fitness First’s worker did harassment to me, where she offered me half price to join the club and keep calling for almost every hour for 3 days even i told her that i refused the offer. And the thing is, she then humiliate me by her personal message, and i do felt stressed until i can’t concern on my studies, and felt sinking myself from others. I tried to inform her manager, however, i did realize that the manager are already knew about her attitude that she being unprofessional. i do hope that she would ask apologize to me for the humiliating message. it would be okay even by a representative because she is sending me the message related to the fitness first.

    Dear Mr Micheal Choong
    My name is Jiuan. I went to a taxi stand at Mutiara Tesco for the first time in 10 years because my car was being utilized by my husband.
    The first taxi I approached asked for RM15.00. He is a foreigner. I asked him why he did not use meter and he walked away not wanting to answer.
    They were very mangada and I said I will report. Suddenly this HW5504 driver jumped out from his taxi and raised his right hand and walked towards me. He then threaten me very closely to slap me and asked why I should report. He then asked me to bugger off in malay. I asked him why he treat his customer this way and again his hands raised. He told me who the hell are you in malay which I cannot really make out but it was no good.
    I have made a police report against HW5504.
    He and the other drivers at the stand was either sniggering or laughting at his threat.
    He kept asking me to GO GO GO and when I wanted to go back to Tesco, he blocked his way and threaten again.
    I managed to walk to the building and stoped to take his picture which was no good because I was so wrecked.
    His friends asked him to drive off. Then a guy with a walkie talkie came towards me and to guard myself, I went to Tesco and complained to them.
    I asked them to accompanied me to the Police Station at Mutiara Damansara.
    Salina and Faizal drove me to the police station which I really appreciate very much.
    Does he have the right to threaten when customer want to report? Or nobody really dare. Are they going to be like a gangster against customer, terrorizing?
    Is his behavior acceptable to raise his hands and threaten to slap me. Very close face to face.
    What if I am slapped in public by this taxi driver? Against his being a gangster?
    I would appreciate your advice. I would like to make this public. This is the first time I am threaten by this man.

    i’m Mr ng. i need advise from datuk michael chong. i have a cyber cafe in klang and i was ask to pay the rental fees of game’s(warcraft) copy right. As i knew from last year newspaper, this company Sendi Mutiara Multimedia Sdn Bhd which is a distributor for Pc games software they do not have the right to collect rental fees of warcraft license with cyber cafe and they just have the right to compound who sell the illegal game software. But this month 22-July-2009 Sendi Mutiara Multimedia had take action to compound
    hose cyber cafe who have install the Warcraft game and other games wihtout agreement with them. Many people think not to install the warcraft game but however this game is the most people play in the market. Since the Sendi Mutiara Multimedia do not have the right to collect the license fees every month, why we should pay to them and is it same with those
    gangster collect money with the shop owner every month to look after their shop ?
    i hope Datuk Michael Chong can help me on this issue and also to all of the

    cyber cafe owner. Anyway, thank you for your time.

    selamat satu malaysia datuk,
    saya ada masalah dgn ceti.saya berniaga sebelum ini dan mendapat pulangan yang agak lumayan.jadi perniagaan saya memang memerlukan modal yang besar, jadi saya mula meminjam dgn ceti dan saya berupaya membayarnya beberapa tahun.tetapi pada awal tahun ini saya ada buat joint venture dan saya kerugian hampir 40 ribu. Selepas itu saya mula menghadapi masalah untuk membayar pinjaman ceti dimana bunganya makin naik setiap bulan dan mereka mula memarahi saya. Saya masih lagi berniaga tapi masih tidak dapat untuk menyelesaikan hutang tersebut. Disini saya ingin meminta jasa baik datuk supaya menjadi org tengah dimana saya ingin membuat bayaran yang boleh menguntungkan kedua dua belah pihak. Saya berhutang dgn dua agensi ceti yang beroperasi di gombak. Saya harap kebijaksanaan datuk dapat menyelesaikan masalah saya ini.

    Saya berumur 26 tahun. Saya seorang ibu yang ingin berkerja untuk menyara anak perempuan tetapi saya sukar mendapat pekerjaan biar pun peluang paling berharga untuk bekerja di universiti malaya terlepas begitu sahaja kerana kesukaran mendapat kad pengenalan. Banyak peluang terlepas hanya kerana tidak ada kad pengenalan. Anak perempuan saya berumur 4 tahun dan semua perbelanjaan saya yang tanggung. Semua tempat tidak berani mengambil saya bekerja. Saya amat berharap jasa baik datuk dapat mengubah trauma yang terpaksa saya tanggung dan tiada penghujung.

    I work as a part time cashier to support my studies.

    They give me my offer letter after I’ve started my work in Giant (during working) and was asked to sign and proceed my work immediately. A copy was given to me to be read at home after I sign.

    In the statement, I only know that I need to give 1 month notice even before confirmation, which I only found out at home when I read it.

    After working for more than 1 month, I resign, due to working hours is more than expected when I discuss with HR before I start work. Because it affected my studies.

    Due to assignment and exams coming, I kindly ask the HR in charge, whether is it possible for me to resign without 1 month notice and can they pay me in full accordance to my work hours. He asked to give him some time to ask the HQ HR about this. After taking another week. He said yes and they will pay me in full since I am only a part time cashier. I work several more days for them (under the HR knowledge)so that they can have at least some time to find new people.

    Finally, now it has been 3 months passed. They give all sorts of reasons, which draged for these 3 months, and I didn’t get a single cents of my salary.

    Each time I call up to check on my salary status, they say will call me back but never call me back. If lucky, I get hold of the HR on the phone, he will give lots of reasons.
    The reasons include from month end 28, he say bank in, when don’t have, he say 5th, than say 7th, then say he will check with HQ, all the reasons is to keep draging until I gave up. In the mean time he even ask me to resend my resignation letter. After several weeks, resend my offer letter. After 3 months, he too lost his patient and ask me to contact HQ HR. I did.

    Finally, I was told my file, which has my application form, offer letter, 3 photos, bankin form, all went missing. So, I don’t have any record as employeee in Giant. What a funny thing to sounds like I am a spy in movie.
    However, when I propose to HQ HR that I will see her in person and to do and resubmit all document that went missing. She got a shock and said, please deal with your branch HR. Document resubmitted in full.
    Now, they say they just found out I have a resign and not going to pay, since I didn’t give 1 month notice.

    The problem is I didn’t simply resign. I asked and discussed with HR before my resignation. Giant promised to pay me in full, although not 1 month notice, but now, not a single cent, and I work more than a month.
    I also work a lot of extra hours.

    I go to work everyday, straight after my class, despite getting all wet from heavy rain. Bought white T-shirts specially for the work and lost petrol. In the end, the RM1000+ salary from my hard work, all went unknown.

    Dear Datuk Chong,

    i am facing a jenayah case has been report to kepong polis station at dated 28/01/2011 with report no.: KEPONG/001412/11

    the part of report content as following:-
    …….Ah leong suruh saya habiskan minum an orange juice , lebih kurang 20 minit saya terus tertidur and dalam keadaan buke mata, kemudian saya telah di rogol.

    after I made the above said report, I been sent to HKL for body checkup, and been proven I been rap by the guy but regrettable, since that day until now reply further reply and action from polis, and the worst is I saw the guy name ah leong still working as normal in kepong area. For you information, ah leong was a member of gangster in kepong area.

    In view to above, I urgently seeking assistance on the above mentioned case, and your office contact number.

    Dear Datuk ,

    I am a Malaysian , Living with a Phillippines Girlfriend , And she was employed by NURSING HOME In Jalan Templer Called Muhibbah Nursing Home , The employer has miss treated her as she was working for 5 months as the visa for her has expired .And renewal was suppose to send by the employer during her time of arrival .Unfortunately the employer did not pay the penalty for her passport for renewal and terminated her .

    I am leaving within my means and alone ,Which i cant support her on this issue we checked with the immigration when to pay the penalty of MYR 60.00 / Day x 125 days = MYR 7,500.00 the employer returned her passport and and told her to get lost . Currently at this state she also feels trethened ..Please Assist

    I am very upset on this matter , Kindly please advise me as what can be done at this stage .
