Former Liverpool player Danny Murphy who use to be the player that destroys Manchester United in the past has done it again, this time wearing a different shirt. Wearing the captain’s armband and dressed in the white of Fulham, Danny Murphy scored from the spot after Paul Scholes made it no secret that he rather play between the post since he isn’t doing the best job in the middle of the field.
Paul Scholes got sent off and United were playing with 10 men from a very early stage of the game. Some United fans at this stage were chanting that they only need 10 men to beat “lower teams” but truth was that they could not break down the Fulham side. Later in the second half a superb Zoltan Gera goal doubled the Cottagers lead and Wayne Rooney help all United reaffirm United fan’s earlier statement by getting himself sent off and his team down to 9-men to climb a already high mountain.
It was a prett boring game to be honest but this leaves United with still 4 points and 1 game in hand ahead of Chelsea and Liverpool. The superb form is facing a dip? Well…its still safe for United to come out of the dip and win the league, but then again there is about 8 to 9 games left which means about 27-30 points to grab. Its getting juicy!
