After the March 8th election its openly known that the opposition states have been deprived out of opportunities to improve their respective states and provide a better state for those living there. Kedah was in the headlines with its intention to log a forest reserve which is vital to water source for the northern states, they we had other states scrambling for ways to bring in income to operate and take their states to new levels.
I have been particularly very impressed with the progress in Selangor and Penang who are leading by example and not waiting and whining about the lack of support from the federal government.These states are taking steps to bring in FDI’s and doing a bloody good job considering they have been in office for a mere 7 months! In the latest development :
“Penang has signed of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Penang Development Corporation (PDC) and a South Korean company to build a RM350mil (US$100 million) golf course in Batu Kawan is the latest state government achievement,” said CM Lim Guan Eng
Now how about that!!
Congratulations to the Penang State government for the hard work and i hope all the other states wake up and smell the coffee.I know its not exactly good times but if you work at it, its very possible!!
