		<description>But the sound from source is very low so i need to put the volume on the tv at high high levels. I understand that HD gives us superior video and AUDIO but this feels like taking a few steps back with sound.

For any HDMI-based source (e.g.: DVD,Blu-ray, Astro), we cannot control the volume directly from the source. Why? HDMI is transmitting your sound as digital signal (LPCM) to your display unit (in contrast to the older Astro, whereby the sound transmitted is an analog low-level signal, hence the volume is controllable).
