50 BN members will be leaving the country on a 8day study trip to Taiwan today. This master stroke was planned by the BN Backbenchers Club Chairman Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing. The group was innitially supposed to go to China but apparently they did not have time to process the visa’s so Taiwan was the plan B.
Question
1) Dont you need a visa to go to Taiwan as well?
2) Whats the rush? (unless there is a different motive?)
Im my view you could not get any more obvious then this!! Who on earth are you kidding? I did a simple search to see how great Taiwan was as far as agriculture and its exports and Malaysia are much better than Taiwan so why on earth are we going there in the first place? You can see the report HERE
China is ranked No2 after India in top 20 exporter activity so it would have made sense to go there for their lawatan sambil belajar but when they swapped over to Taiwan…It raises eye brows isnt it?
As a layman on the street who knows a little of whats being happening around this looks like BN are afraid that their party members may join the opposition and this plan will to a certain extend keep them away from any “bad vibes” that could end the BN leadership.
I could be wrong but hey…that’s the way i see it!
