The finals of the first season, Biggest Looser Asia was last night at 10.15pm and it brought back all eliminated contestants and the 4 finalist to have their final weigh in and to decide who will be the first Biggest Looser Asia. It was a much anticipated show consider the contestants were loosing weight in Kg’s and it was no small numbers that were being shed.
As predicted, David bagged the top prize after losing an amazing 81 kg, or 53% of his original body weight, to clinch the title, beating competitors Malaysian copywriter Aaron Mokhtar, 30, Filipino chef Carlo Miguel, 32 and Hongkong sales assistant Martha Lai, 19.
On a separate note the production of the finals was extremely poor! From the quality of the shooting to the timing to the entry of the finalist who kept tripping over the poorly mounted images of their old weight, it was pure shambles! Surely the producers could have pulled off a much much higher quality show.
Hopefully season 2 will be bigger, better and as inspiring as season 1
