Bad News 07

The only consistent thing we have had lately is that when we open the papers, there is definately some bad news or rather! To be frank, when I open the paper somehow I have lost the “feel good” factor. I remember how i used to open the papers and read a piece of news and feel pretty grateful that I’m born in this part of the world and i rather not be anywhere else..Ask me that question today…….

I really don’t know the answer!

There is soo much of drama going on every single day and the icing on the cake for me is the very people we rely on to keep this country safe has failed to come up with even a good cover up story to keep me happy at least!

Look at the stuff that has been happening,all we hear about are : People getting arrested for protesting , rape, murder, car crashes,robbery, price increase,corruption….People talk,talk and the topics are just left to die off,conveniently forgotten about!Soo much of negative its sickening isn’t it?

Go to any mamak stall…Sit and listen to conversation, its always complains,whining and distress! Why do we need all that?? Its been a poor year in general for me and if i can say this most Malaysians. Yes we might have had highlights at a personal level but bigger picture….Just not good enough! I don’t think when your up there and have the say, you should be blowing your own trumpet of how good a job you have done but to continue to strive to improve.

Dont compare us with countries where the situation has always been bad! Is that where we put ourselves? Just shows how low the standards are set in the first place!!

Only highlight for me, the year is coming to a end and hopefully a lighting bolt strikes and it will be a brighter 08′

**PS : this is not my review of 2007, just a one of those rants
