Astro has finally launched its brand new HD service today! Its called Astro b.yond . The new service will enable subscribers to enjoy with four channels, namely Astro Supersport HD, HBO HD, National Geographic Channel HD and History HD which will be available at launch date, while ESPN HD will start in January.
As an Astro customer you can exchange your current Astro decoder to experience Astro B.yond for FREE. The above mentioned set-up gives you access to your favourite channels in High-Definition for an additional monthly service fee of only RM20.

Of course it comes with a price but the good news is we can now enjoy the World Cup which happens next summer in HD! Finally i get to use the LCD proper the way it is supposed to be used. Hopefully the service is good and the quality is as good as expected.
