Aquaria KLCC

I was up to something a little different since every time i want go out its the mamak,movies or some mall .Valcy and I thought of going to the Zoo since it had been ages since i went to the zoo. Cheryl and her cuz was also up for it so we left at about 1pm to Cheryl’s place since she lives in some jungle(near the zoo) :P. So we get there and her parents invited us in to have lunch and we did just that. Then right on cue it started raining!! It was super annoying and it didn’t seem to subside soo we still wanted to go do something..We decided KLCC, since PetroSains was there and Aquaria is a walk away.

We toke the train from the Terminal Putra Station and 10ish stops later we were at KLCC. So we go up to the PetroSains and we missed the show and they we not letting anymore people in!! So…last option was Aquaria!! It was a pretty long walk and finally we reached the Aquaria.

That’s the official price list.I was the only one who paid RM28. Valcy had her old CPA card and since the other two girls were in college they paid RM20(you need your student card for that! )

The whole place is set in a darkish setting and the entrance has a touch pool where you could “fondle the fish”

and then you walk into a area where there are different species of fishes and insects and amphibians .Some looked plain freaky and some were pretty cool(you normally see it on Animal Planet).

The living ocean is my favorite! It was like your walking underwater and these fishes,sharks,turtles and some fishes that look like they are straight outta some freak show!

At the exit there is a huge shop, Atlantis where you can pick up some Aquaria Merchandise which were pretty nice too!!

Did you know that if you are a diver you can actually dive with the Sharks??!

If you are a certified diver it cost you RM400 and you get -> Equipment hire, DVD of your dive along with the training footage and shark conservation film, “Dive with Sharks” T-Shirt and Certificate
