AMBP had their inaugural gathering at Starbucks,the Gardens. It was the first of its kind by AMBP and supposed to be a opportunity for registered blogger’s to mingle and “network”.Danny got me about 10 and we made our way there. The even started at about 10am we were early! There was a registration counter where we registered and got little name tags and put our names into a box for the lucky draw where movie tickets and merchandise were given away.

Being a early bird we got a complimentary drink courtesy of Starbucks/AMBP. Then we made our way to our seats while waiting for the crowd to settle in. It was pretty obvious of little groups forming and hanging out on their own(then again it was pretty congested with the tables/chairs). There were also lots of fellow blogger’s who came alone and were out to make a friend or two!

We were then handed door-gifts that contained mostly items from the Star. As time passed we met a few people who we spoke about our blogs and it was pretty interesting. The lucky draw was next with sessions had every half an hour giving away the movie tickets.

There wasn’t any clear itinerary planned so it was a little messy never the less it was a first attempt by the AMBP people in such gathering and I’m sure they must have taken a thing or two back from this event.

I finally met WingLoon and a few other friendly blogger’s. Hopefully there are more of such events with more planned so every one of us there would have more to take back from the event.
