With the launch of the new AirAsiaX around the corner i was curious in what sort of planes are going to be use for this cause.

This is the current Flights that are used by Air Asia for its local/Asian destinations

These flights are OK when your traveling the 1-4 hour journeys, the seat space is a slight issue if you are slightly on the heavier side .The good thing is they are maintained well and for the price you normally pay, its great!

AirAsiaX will have to use different planes for the medium/long haul flights and being the loyal Airbus customers they have gone for the ->

From what i have read so far about the new planes,AirAsiaX will be acquiring 10 planes with a option for another 5 to start with. It gives the passengers more leg space as well as more comfort as compared to the other fleet. Sounds like we all be flying out of the region without too much damage to the pockets and in decent comfort too!
