Naza boss dies

Tan Sri S.M. Nasimuddin S.M. Amin, founder, chairman and chief executive officer of the Naza Group, passed away of lung cancer in California at 1.15am (Malaysian time). He was 54 years old. Naza has always been branded the “other national car” coming out with “OEM” cars from KIA and Peugeot.

Its been a great ride for the Tan Sri S.M. Nasimuddin S.M. Amin with the business that he managed to grow from tarting his Approved Permits (APs) to import foreign cars to the whole car business he currently built.

Have you seen some of the cars in the Naza Mall along the federal highway? Awesome job!

RIP

Happy Labour’s Day

Wikipedia -> The celebration of Labour Day has its origins in the eight hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest. On 21 April 1856 Stonemasons and building workers on building sites around Melbourne, Australia, stopped work and marched from the University of Melbourne to Parliament House to achieve an eight hour day. Their direct action protest was a success, and they are noted as the first organized workers in the world to achieve an eight hour day with no loss of pay, which subsequently inspired the celebration of Labour Day and May Day.

In Malaysia its a public holiday for us “labourers” to take a day off and celebrate our contribution to the economy or the nation. Happy Labour day my dear friends and have a good one!
