29th of February

Its the 29th of February today!! Its the day that happens only once every 4 years! I had friends wishing me Happy Leap Year! That’s a new one:) Anyway..I wish i were born on a 29th of Feb, that would have effectively made me… 7.5 years old! Now how about that! Come to think about it, if the year i was born was a leap year, I’d be born on the 29th of Feb!

Happy Birthday Nuffnang!

Happy Birthday to the best add agency in Malaysia and I’m sure in the region(matter of time) !!! In the age of web 2.0 everyone seems to moving towards that kind of design.The latest to follow that trend is the BBC website.Known to be a rather conservative with ideas and designs this im sure is a total re-branding and i think it looks superb! The brand new BBC site allows you to customize almost every section on the site to match your topics of interest.

Don’t like reading Politcal news simply move the module down or totally take it off the home page. The site also allows you to change the colour theme to something more soothing to your eyes!  The brand new site also lets you choose prefernces on stories or subjects of your choice!

I think the whole theme and design is awesome !

Horror Tackle

If you are a football fan the last thing you want to see is a horror tackle! Over the last weekend, arsenal striker Eduardo got exactly that..Birmingham’s Martin Taylor went flying into Eduardo’s ankle and effective breaking it into a few bits! Its horryfying in my view. It was so bad the channel didn’t even show repeats of the tackle. Microsoft Slapped with a 1.4Bil Fine!

Microsoft have been slapped with the record fine of $1.4 Billion!! Microsoft must now pay a record 899m euros ($1.4bn; £680.9m) after it failed to comply with a 2004 ruling that it abused its position.The ruling said that Microsoft was guilty of not providing key code to rival software makers.

EU regulators said the firm was the first to break an EU anti-trust ruling.The fines come on top of earlier fines of 280m euros imposed in July 2006, and of 497m euros in March 2004.

Thats a crazy amount of money for a fine but then again its nothing for a company of the magnitude of Microsoft!Ir should always be a even playing field and a monopoly can be nothing but bad for the consumer.
