XMAS at the office

Most offices are nicely decorated for the holiday season just to get everyone in the mood of the holidays and some even have small contest to decided the best decorated departments! My dept in the office normally does a superb job in the decorations but this year since there isnt a contest the steam is slightly offff…..

Never the less the respective depts did put up some decorations…The funny thing is since there isnt any contest and no prizes to be won you get the real deal out of these dept’s…

The decorations clearly show what department you work in..

Site Down

If you have been trying to access Delirium yesterday and today it was down thanks to the host this site is on. It was supposed to be a real short downtime but it dragged and dragged and it finally this site did not see daylight for close to 48hours! Sickening! I felt it was just poor that it toke soo long and the support people didn’t give me a straight answer but shit does happen.

Nufflets

Were going to have a 4th ad company that’s going to be hitting our shores real soon!!

NuffNang got the ball rolling and since then we have had Advertlets, the GrabMyAds and the new kid on the block is called Nufflets .From what i understand via the Nufflets site its due to be launched in 3 days time, on the 25th Dec 2005.

I dont have much info on the mechanics but HongKiat has a brief idea. I’m going to wait and even though im a infant in blogging, it be interest to know what Nufflets has got in store! :)

16GB in a size of a Water Drop!

Intel has announced a new SSD device that can store up to 16GB in a space the size of a small coin.The Z-P140 comes in 2, 4, 8 and 16GB models and weighs just 0.6 grams – about the same as a drop of water.

The Z-P140 uses an industry-standard PATA interface and is significantly smaller than a hard drive with similar storage capacity. With no moving parts it is well suited to applications where devices can expect to receive their fair share of bumps and jolts during use.

Intel quotes read times of 40 megabytes per second and write times of 30 MB/s for the drives. Power consumption is rated at a miserly 1.1 miliwatts when idle and 300 mW when operating.

Malaysian Bloggers Gathering

AMBP will be having their inaugural Bloggers Gathering on the 12th January 2008 at Starbucks, the Gardens Midvalley(10am). The first 50 that show up are entitled to a free drink courtesy of Starbucks!
