Hole in the system

This is totally crazy!! The was in a leak in the UPSR papers!!
Imagine that, this is the first exam a kid sits for in the education system at the age of 12 and he is fed with the questions before the exams!!
Most of these leakes came from tuition teachers who apparently had “last minutes classes” to give their students the questions and answers. The papers which were leaked are  Bahasa Malaysia (Composi-tion), Mathematics Paper 2, Science and English. How do you leak a Maths paper? Do the teachers give them objective answers and the students memorise them(No 1 a, no 2 b, no 3 a) if your lucky your teacher might make a song out of the answers so its easier to remember!!! What the &*%^!!
I guess that is the “value” they give to their customers. I think by 2020 when we hopefully are a fully developed nation, these very tuition teachers will go take the exams for the students as part of their “extra value”. The kids are being thought the art of cheating at such a young age nowadays! I think this is totally bezerk. How on earth do you expect to have a generation of bright kids when they are educated on the art of cheating! Its UPSR for gods sake, how hard can that be?

Catch these fella’s who leak the exam papers, teach these teachers a lesson.Polution of our future is not something we should condone!

Plan to add your driving license on your MyKad??

I was reading about how the govt want more people to get their driving license intergrated into their MyKard. It seemed like a cool idea based on having one card that carries pretty much everything and since they have been raving about how everything is online, even if a mishap happened and i lost it..It should not be a problem getting it all back again! I wouldn’t put any financial data on it though..After reading some sources ,boys and girls…HOLD YOUR HORSES!!

This article on The Star prompted me in deep diving this whole idea , then i found this!!

When you apply for My Kad, for goodness sake, do not incorporate your driving license into it. Or when you renew your driving license do not be too clever to incorporate your driving license into your My Kad.

So much so is said of the advance technology of My Kad – you
think so? Previous problem like JPJ or Police cannot read my My Kad is gone & over.

Major Problem will arise like when you apply for vehicle or motorcylce loan later. The finance Company will request for your Driving License again in order to process the loan. The finance Company do not have the My Kad reader. Without the original license you cannot buy new car or motorcycle.

You have to apply for the new license with JPJ again, take new photos and pay for the annual license fees again at RM20 per year even if your My Kad Incorporated driving license is still valid for many more years.

For example, if you want the Driver license to be processed and
valid for say 5 years you have to pay in total RM100 again?? It is madness.

When you make insurance claims, the insurance company cannot
process your claims and thus you would have to apply for the original Driving License again like the above otherwise you cannot make your insurance claim.

Even if it is a minor accident involving a third-party, you will still have to submit your driving license to the insurance company in their record in the event the third party make a claim later it won’t be honoured. Insurance Company also do not have My Kad reader and probably won’t have at all in the future?

All these is very hectic amid tight schedule and money because you will find very little time left to apply for new license and dig out from your pocket extra $ otherwise you cannot get your financial and insurance transaction duly completed. (Source)

The nice thing is that the govt seems to be moving at a faster pace then the private sector but without both sectors working hand in hand…it could lead to some serious drama!

Hope all the relevant people come together on this and sort the whole thing out before actually rolling out!!

Happy Birthday Malaysia!

Finally my Merdeka Post..I think every blogger has got a responsibility to blog about Merdeka :)  Its 50 years and it is a BIG DEAL! Imagine if we were ruled by some other country and told exactly what to do, that we can’t start business without their involvement, being put behind bars for speaking your thoughts and basically being treated like 3rd class citizens..Now that isn’t too nice is it?? :)

Let’s not rant on such a auspicious occasion, for this celebration i want to look at what we have achieved as a country from my perspective and what i consider is important to me! As far as I’m concerned our previous prime minister is my superhero! Say what you want about him, nobody is perfect but i think he is the guy responsible for what we are today! Yea, the previous leaders played their part in different ways(thanks you!) but this guy is the deal! He has take the country leaps and bounds during his tenure, yea lots of people may say do we need the tallest building in the world? A F1 track? A giant airport? A tall tower people jump off from? My answer is YES!!

The way i look at it, every product(country) should be appealing for people to buy into it! And you do need these attractions to make the country more marketable! Imagine if you landed in a country into a shabby airport, something that looked and smelled like Klang bus stand, what would your impression be?? I hope i’ve made my point! Have you had friends or family who tell you how its better to move abroad to a different country and how your life could be better off else where? I’ve had heaps of them! My take on that…How do you treat a foreigner in our country? Have ever complained about them being here taking your jobs? or ever found your self mocking a Bangladeshi or Indonesian worker? Guess what..You are going to be looked at the exact same way elsewhere!

We have got ample opportunities and chances to make it here, if you cant make a decent life from where you come from, what are the chances of you making it elsewhere? I have heard people talk about how they don’t get the support or help, aren’t we all able enough to make the opportunities for ourselves? I think that just like any product, you need to be appealing enough for someone to buy into you! If you think your not getting noticed, your obviously need to market yourself better, Have you ever bought your self a Levi’s jeans? Those cost a couple of hundreds a pair but how different is it from the cheap 30 dollar jeans? Its Marketed well for us to buy it isn’t it?

My take : We are blessed to be here, opportunities are there..I’m going to quote my brother, this was something i saw on his msn id one day and i think its superb..

“if opportunities doesn’t knock, then build a door!”

We have all the resources to life a great life here, its purely in your hands..Whining will not fix anything! Its not perfect but its our HOME!

Happy Birthday Malaysia!

How much time do we really have?

Its been a real massive weekend for me..While most people were celebrating independence day I had some real sad news..a friend of mine passed away, he was young and energetic. If you knew him, he was a handful!! I mean..the kind of energy this guy brought to the table is was superb! He was talented and there was very few people who didn’t fancy him.

It came as a shock to everyone who knew him and the saddest thing for me is,the guy has not even started living life yet! He passed away so suddenly in a accident when he lost control over his bike and you just know that God probably wanted him badly when he who was wearing a helmet passed away while his friend who was not equipt with one was discharged off the same hospital he was pronounced dead two days later!!

This is the second time something like this is happening to me and this time around i realised how we take the gift of “life” for granted Its not money, its not the size of your car, condo, wallet or anything material…Those are things you can earn or aqquire over time, help or luck..But life it self? Can you earn that??

I think the big man up there has got a plan for each and every one of us, doesnt matter which faith you come from.As far as im concerned we are all the same, we just sing different tunes. If you been messing around, i suggest you pull your socks up and get your act together! You just dont know when your time might just run out! I think these are wake up calls which the big man up there throws at us, if you don’t wake up soon enough you may just not have the time to make things right.

I saw the pain the family went through and its not pretty, they all truly loved him and its a great lost.

R.I.P

How much is really enough?

I’m sure this is a topic all of us have thought about again and again..How much is really enough? I guess its part of our DNA to be never satisfied with what we actually have!
I’m sure like most of us, pay day was just a few days ago or soon and i got mine as well.So i find myself paying up bills and watch a month of work going towards the little extra’s we call “comfort” and just like that over minutes,i’m left with a fraction to live it through the month!! I remember when i was back in college and living on my dad’s doe, i seriously had more money for myself ! I guess as you earn your own money your definition of comfort also increases with that. When is it really enough? A roof above your head, food to eat, clothes to wear..a car? when you draw that line when your happy?
