Price of fuel is now is crazy with more than a 40% increase, it cant be easy on anyone’s pockets. NGV is a great alternative to fuel which is a fraction on the price minus the power. From reviews that i have heard from blogs, the power reduction is about 30% but considering the savings, its well worth it.
Petrol price stands at RM2.70 a litre and NGV is priced at only RM0.68 per litre.
However installing NGV is not always the cheapest affair. Let say i were to install NGV on my Hyundai Accent , it would cost me RM5850 for the installation. Of course there are several different standards in NGV installation.Kah Bintang, the distributor of Hyundai cars in Malaysia have started installing NGV in their new cars to help ease the burden and the kinda tanks they are installing?
2nd Generation NGV Systems from lo.gas of Italy
* Imported from Italy with a cylinder that is made of lightweight Type II fiber steel and complies with the ISO-11439 standard.
* It has an Auto-switching function, which will trigger automatically from gasoline to gas after the car’s engine has warmed-up and switching-back to gasoline is possible anytime.
Its recommended to ensure you are installing a NGV kit from a reputable company. Its so new that im not too sure the the safety of having this tank installed is guaranteed. The tanks are normally installed in the booth of your car and most accidents happen there so you want to ensure the tank you are installing would be able to handle it!

Looking forward to install to your car?
Naza Group of Companies may work together with OCBC Bank to offer customers financing for the installation of the natural gas (NGV) facility in cars.

Neville
Manchester United won the curtain raiser to the English league after they beat Portsmouth 3-1 on penalties. The game which ended in a 0-0 after 90 minutes. The charity shield does not go to extra time but straight to penalties as the tie breaker. It was a very normal 90minutes with both teams playing their first competitive game for the new season.
The new Pompey signing of Peter Crouch who partnered Jermaine Defoe were not at their best and its totally understandable. Carlos Tevez was the best player on the field with his usual lively self making many attempts at goal but the impressive David James didn’t provide him access to the Pompey goal.
Cant wait for the new season to get under way next weekend!!!

Tun Dr mahathir
A report form the Malaysian Insider quoted that if DSAI becomes the prime minister, Tun M would rather migrate. Its sad to hear this from the former pm who lead the country for such a long time and choose the wrong successor. I would think that Tun Dr M has got a part to play in the situation we are in today.
My parents always told me that you can sometimes do all the good in the world but the wrongs that you do, can come back to haunt you and potentially you could be remembered for that scar alone.
The part of the report that i don’t fully agree on is ->
He said Anwar was greedy enough for support that he would forsake the special privileges for his own race to cooperate with the Hindu Rights Action Force (Hindraf) which is filled with racism.
People on the street will be people on the street. You can have the best intentions in the world but if you don’t know how to control and position it right, it can easily be mis-interpreted. I personally dont think Hindraf is racist. I think the way Pakatan handles them is good, you cant always go against something just because you don’t believe in it. Hindraf isobbying the cause of their kind and other races have acknoledged that it is important. We live in a nation where one race well being will mean other races will benefit from it because reality is we are dependant on each other for out very existance.
What if Hindraf never came along? Would the nation seriously look at the plight of the group and their calls and addressed them?
What if you embraced their concerns, listen to them and reason and address those concerns?
Well..everyone is entitled to their opinion and my stand is, We Need A Better Malaysia for ALL and Malaysia should be for all!
PS- If a Chin-DRAF/Is-DRAF emerged and had solid grounds for their call, i’de support them too!

Anwar Ibrahim turns 61 today! The man who potentially is the next prime minister and leader of the strong opposition party. Some may still not think he is the right person to lead the nation to a new dawn but there are many who think the future is one lead by Anwar.
Happy Birthday Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim! Hopefully you will be celebrating your 62nd birthday as the premier of Malaysia!

Ask any Indian who hoped that MIC would be the only ones that could bail them out from their misery back in the day and the first thing they would say is MAIKA HOLDINGS. Now you may ask what the heck is Maika?
I looked up their website, and this is what it is :
Inaugurated on the 15th of August 1984, Maika Holdings Berhad’s principle activity - is investment holding. Maika was originally established to represent the interests of the Malaysian Indian community and has since grown to configure more than 66,000 shareholders.
As a professional and profitable Malaysian corporation, the company has provided attractive returns to shareholders and is targeted to continue real term future growth in line with the expanding economy of Malaysia and that of the region.
Ok..yea, sounds like some heavy mambo-jambo isnt it? Well…not really, it is basically a company that was formed by MIC which toke what evers wealth that was left off them and didnt give anything back. Its widely known as thew failed venture but after reading news from numerous sites, im begining to wonder if its a failed venture or venture that was planned to fail?
In the latest updates, the blog of Yb S Manikavasagam indicated some new developments.
This has surfaced :

And this explanation came up :
Why did Samy Velu withdraw RM 14.40million from his Bank Of Commerce (now CIMB Bank ) Current Account on 04/04/1992 and how did he manage to cover up overdrawn by deposit over RM15.00 million within 15days time .
Does a Minister earn approximately RM 1.00 million per day?
Wonder what the Anti Coruption Agency has got to say about this one??

Its back! The curtain raiser to the new Barclays Premier League is tomorrow night! This year the opener See’s FA Cup champions Portsmouth take on the League champions Manchester United. This season should be particularly interesting not because of the new signings by the so called “big four” but how the other teams are slowly closing the gap!
Teams like Pompey,Sunderland,Newcastle,Spurs,Man City and even Fulham are my takes to form the top half of the table. The teams that will be suffering this season? I think that Blackburn,Everton,Boro and West Ham are the big teams that will be warming the bottom half of the table.
Cant wait for the matches to start and the coffee shop managers to emerge again!
Who is your pick to win the Charity Shield?

Congratulations to bloggers, you now have the attention of the government, your voice definately matters and can move or shake dissucions. Why do i say that?
Foreign minister, Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim is proposing that a internal council or a mechanism to monitor bloggers.
How about that!!
Excerpts from the NST report said :
He said that in terms of law, the Sedition Act was sufficient but he was worried about enforcement which was not up to the mark and having such a council would help in enforcement.
He said that the arms of the law might not be long enough to reach bloggers outside the country but if the blogger was in the country, something could be done and it was all a question of will.
He told reporters this when asked to comment on a blog posting calling on the people to display their unhappiness with what is going on in the government by flying the national flag upside down.
He said that rather than resorting to such an act, it would be better for them to express their dissatisfaction through the proper channels like writing articles and to speak out on whom they disliked, what was wrong and what was inappropriate.
“Rather than bashing the flag, it’s better for them to take it out on the person concerned or the leaders that they don’t like,” he added.
So bloggers, time to watch watch you say because the eye’s are watching and maybe have got busted. Im dont think they neccasirly deserve the treatment but that is the reality of things.
For a Better Malaysia!

Famous blogger Penarik beca who was arrested by the police has been released today at 5.30pm.
The reason for arrest?
He was investigated him under Section 4 (1) of the Sedition Act, which deals with the act of republishing materials which are seditious in nature.
Why?
The police crest that accompanies his posting Kenapa Tak Saman Raja Petra?
Excerpts from Rocky’s Bru :
When Penarik Beca was released he told friends and the press,
“I would like to say that I regret putting the crest there. It was wrong, a stupid mistake. I would like to tender my sincere apology to the whole police force.
“I defended and still defend what I wrote but since the first moment they hauled me in, I’ve said without any reservation that I regretted having copied-and-pasted the image.”
Thank god he is ok and safe home!
