According to the Mayan calender , the 21st of December 2012 will be the day of the Apocalypse. In English, that means it will be the end of mankind and our home, planet earth. This new movie directed by Roland Emmerich who is no stranger to such movies directing “Independence Day,” “Godzilla,” and “The Day After Tomorrow.”

The trailer looks pretty good, then again dont all trailers? :) The movie is due to be released on the 3rd of November 2009 and its one of the movies that im looking forward to catch!

Confirmed : Jon & Kate Divorce

Its confirmed! Jon & Kate from Jon & Kate Plus Eight have filled for divorce! The famous tv couple who have been watched by millions around the world have decided to go their separate ways after Jon was spotted with 23-year-old Deanna Hummel and was photographed driving Jon’s car home from a bar late at night.

There was speculations that Kate too was having a affair with bodyguard but not confirmed. All this has ultimately reached the court rooms and the couple became the latest victims of the reality tv jinx!

Guess Who Owns WWE?

WWE was launched in 1993, the show aired their 800th episode in September 2008. Its being run by the Chairman, Vince McMahon. The Chairman has finally decided to cash in and its been now officially taken over by a brand new owner, Donald Trump!!

The new owner will do a commercial free show June 22, 2009 and will take center stage to run things the way “it should be done!” The Trump brand is sure making waves in the tv space eh!

Halle Berry was the recipient of the Decades of Hotness Award last night at the Spike tv 2009 Guys Choice Awards at Sony Studios in Los Angeles.

The famous Gosselin’s who are the Jon & Kate Plus 8 reality show where it showcases the trials and tribulations of the family of Jon & Kate Gosselin who have 8 kids are on the rocks. What happened?

Daddy has been a bad boy! Apparently their marriage is on the rocks after Jon was spotted with another women. Mummy Gosselin isn’t too happy about the situation and is considering a split. This might make lots of people unhappy but im smelling the tv folks rubbing the hands in glee!

There is tension in the air as season 5 starts and one would suspect that it is now purely for tv and not the real deal anymore ha!

Kate surviving with 8 maybe?

Kara DioGuardi Goes 2 Piece

Remember Katrina Darell, the bikini girl from the American Idol season 8? Well she won her self a award at the American Idol final show and came on as expected in her 2 piece suit. During her audition, she had a mini confrontation with new judge Kara DioGuardi.

Well, Kara came on stage to sing together with Katrina and striped into a 2 piece suit like Katrina as well! :) Apparently her charity will be getting some money for her act which is a good thing after all.

Malaysian Sports Chanel

nicol-ann-david-cimb-open-2007There has been much debate of the lack of coverage of Malaysian sports on tv. Yes we have a Malaysian version of Sportscenter on ESPN but thats not enough…apparently.  By end of this year, we will have our very own tv channel over Astro that focuses on Malaysian sports. So now we might be able to watch tournaments that Nicol David plays in or even maybe the world sepak takraw series which we used to be champs in.

Tunku Imran said a tv sports channel was the “missing link” in the country’s efforts to develop sports to higher levels.

Tunku Imran also said that what many people did not realise was that Malaysia was actually a successful sporting nation although the country had yet to win its first ever 0lympic gold medal

Hopefully with the introduction of this new channel, there will be more interest in Malaysian sports and hopefully this puts more pressure on the sports man and women to deliver medals,tittles that can really put us on the sporting map.

I’m hopeful that this is NOT the only aspect that is taken under consideration because its personally i wont be tuning into a channel to only watch our sports men and women constantly being bashed by other competitors :)
