This is a nice guide to tell you where the safe tattoo zones are and which area’s should be gazetted to non ink areas!

Many people talk about having tattoo’s and how cool it is. Some have butterflies, some have dragons, some have names and the list goes on. I have a few myself and each of my tattoo’s mean something to me and that calls for the need to ink myself with these images. What i havent done very well is linking them together in a way which looks awesome together.

I checked out Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) who has a awesome tattoo on his left arm. Little did i know that each and every detail had soo much meaning to it.

A) These are coconut leaves, or niu, which denote a Samoan chief-warrior.
B) This is the sun which brings good fortune.
C) This isa/ga fa’atasi (three people in one), That’s me with my arms open. As it continues on my chest, it connects to my o lo’u to’a/ua (my wife, Dany) and my o lo’u afafine (my daughter, Simone Alexandra).
D) These descending swirls represent past, present and future, with the future becoming ever bigger. The pattern continues under my arm, where its meaning is written: “It changes in the place where it is found to be gone.”
E) These two eyes, called o mata e lua, represent my ancestors watching over my path.
F) This is the Great Eye, It’s an intimidating symbol that allows its user to possess the spirit of his enemy. The eye is used to distract the enemy in a confrontation.
G) This broken face, marked by shark teeth—a symbol of strength—is my spirit protector and a symbol of my struggle.
H) This is the priest and spiritual guide, who raises a warrior to enlightenment and supernatural power under the eyes of the warrior’s ancestors.
I) These are stones of achievement and abundance. They’re the foundation of my life and symbols of my dedication. They bring the right to stand and speak with honor as a Tula Fale—a high talking chief—and they maintain mana, or supernatural power.
J) This is a tortoise shell, to deflect evil spirits. Warriors used shells as shields.

How about that! Just to remind you that it cost more to remove a tattoo and twice more painful. So if you are going to get one or add to a existing one, think and plan .. Its going to be there for your lifetime so take your time in deciding what you want to get.

More and more people get tattoo’s these days , some due to peer pressure and some do it because they simply love ink on their skin. Well i personally have a few of my own and itching for more and in the process of looking for a design, i already knew what i wanted to achieve of this stint. I pretty much have a few on my arm and wanted to find for a design that would merge these tattoo’s in a form of a sleeve.

While looking for a design i looked up some designs online and spoke to some friends and realized that some dont really realize that tattoo’s will be there for the rest of your life, unless you plan to spend more money that it cost to have it in the first place should you decide to remove it.

What should you consider BEFORE getting a tattoo?

So here are some of Delirium’s tips when picking a tattoo

1) Find a design that has meaning for you. I like to make sure that i know what my tattoo means , hopefully feel connected to it. Doesnt matter if others dont understand it ,as long as you do .. Its fine.

2) Stay away from the generic designs. Most tattoo joints will have a set of generic tattoo’s that you can pick and choose from. Try to go for something unique. Well, if you do really like something from these generic books, you can definitely get your tattoo artist to customize it for you.

3) Christina isn’t going to like “Joyce” tattooed on your chest. Remember that gf/bf’s come and go so THINK again and again before taking that path.

4) Location, location, location – Think carefully of where you want to get your tattoo. This is very important! You dont want to get a tattoo on your neck and go for that dream job interview at a Multi National Company, somehow i dont think that would resonate too well with your potential employers.

5)Don’t shop around for the cheapest studio or artist. If its cheap, dont expect a world class job. Very often good quality jobs comes with a price so if you want a tattoo, i say be prepared to pay.

6) Relax. Think about it a little. Toss it around in your brain for a few days There is absolutely no rush when you need to get the tattoo, when you are convinced that you have the right design and the right artist, you then make that trip to get inked!

I think that the tattoo community in Malaysia is rather small and it be nice to see who else is there that could put some more ink to my skin! Thanks to TheDaneshProjects i found this nice list of tattoo shops around Malaysia but the who is good and who is crap?? I dont want someone who will take something off a book and tattoo it straight to my arm, i rather have someone who you could give your idea too and he gets creative and comes up something that says YOU more then anything else

Its weird, when you go to one guy for your ink, you form a bond..Its like he knows whats best for your skin and naturally being a repeat customer,price is under control too!!
Anyone knows a good,reliable and creative tattoo artist??

I plan to get a sleeve done on my right arm, basically finish up some un-finished business!
This is going to be one that i do then im going to stay off the ink for a while….i hope!
